What to expect during the Application Process

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Complete the form in its entirety. Incomplete applications will delay processing.
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Be sure to check your email and SPAM folder for an email from Cause 4 Paws (cause4pawslocustgrove@gmail.com). This email contains information on how to reach us while your application is being reviewed.
If we have questions about your application we will contact you. Be sure to check your email and phone number is inputted correctly before submitting your application.
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email from our applications team. This email will indicate whether or not you have been approved to adopt, and provide information on your next steps. Receiving the approval email does not guarantee that the animal you applied for is still available or a good fit for your home.
We will 'hold' or 'reserve' animals during the adoption application process for a $50 non-refundable fee. This fee can be paid via PayPal. Be sure to note your name and the cat’s name in its entirety in the “notes” section.
