Fostering
What is fostering Fostering saves lives. Taking a cat into your home to foster not only makes life better for that particular cat, it also opens up a space for another animal to be saved from the threat of euthanasia. Animals are eligible for foster for a variety of reasons – because they have been with us for a while, because they don’t thrive in a cage at our local PetSmart Adoption Center, because they have special needs, or because they are too young to stay in a cat adoption center. Fostering experiences last anywhere from a few days to a few months. Our foster team can help you choose an animal and create an experience that is right for you and your family.
