Become a Foster Volunteer
Opening your home to a foster cat is one of the most rewarding ways to help save lives. Every foster home allows us to rescue another cat or kitten in need while giving them a safe place to heal, grow, and prepare for their forever family.
Why Foster?
Fostering Saves Lives
Every foster home makes a difference. By welcoming a cat into your home, you are giving them the chance to recover, build confidence, and experience life in a loving home while waiting for adoption.
At the same time, your generosity opens space for Cause 4 Paws to rescue another homeless cat or kitten who needs our help.
Who Needs Foster Care?
Every Cat Has a Different Story
Long-Term Residents
Some cats simply need a break from the adoption center while they wait for the right family.
Shy or Stressed Cats
A quiet home allows many cats to relax and show their true personalities.
Kittens
Young kittens often need foster homes before they are old enough to be adopted.
Medical Recovery
Some cats simply need a comfortable place to recover while receiving treatment.
Your Role
What Foster Families Provide

- Transportation to veterinary appointments when needed
- Transportation to adoption events when possible
